Acne Treatment
Acne is a chronic condition that can blight the lives of all it affects. Many believe it is only teenagers who suffer from this condition. In fact, today we see more and more cases of ‘mature acne’. The exact causes of acne are not known, however hormones, lifestyle and genetics play a significant role.
Acne is caused by bacteria known as ‘P acne’ which can cause a build-up of sebum in the pore. The cell turnover of the skin is poor so sebum becomes trapped, the bacteria feeds off this sebum and creates a pimple. In some cases, these are severe and cause unsightly marks and pimples on the face.
